I love tomato soup and grilled cheese but once in a while I like to kick it up a notch and have this yummy tomato chowder. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 4 large ripe tolmatoes chopped
- 15 ounces tomato sauce
- 1 cup frozen corn kernals
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 cup monterey jack cheese
- 1 medium ripe avocado peeled and chopped, optional
- 1 1/3 cups french fried ,onions, optional
How To Make santa fe tomato chowder

Step 1Melt butter in large saucepan;saute garlic for 1 minute. Add tomatoes and cook 5 minutes.Stir in 1 cup water, tomato sauce,corn,cilantro,hot sauce and chilli powder. Bring to a boil high heat. Reduce heat; simmer 10 minutes. Spoon soup into serving bowls; Sprinkle with cheese. Also with avocado and fried onions if desired.
