Ingredients
-
16 ozbag northern dry beans
-
15 ozcan black beans,undrained
-
1/2head cauliflower ,cut bite size
-
1/4 cminced onion
-
5 smallmini seeded and chopped bell peppers
-
3 mediumchicken tenders, cut bite size
-
1 tspea. oregano and thyme
-
14 ozcreamed corn
-
1 ccooked rice
-
1 cchopped kale
-
2bay leaves
-
1 Tbspea. dried chives and garlic powder with parsley
-
1/2 csalsa, chunky
-
2 stalk(s)celery, diced
-
2 tsppepper
-
3 Tbspchicken bouillon granules
-
·instant potatoes to thicken
How to Make Round Up Soup
- Place Northern beans in medium pan and cover 2 inches above beans with hot wter..Cook to boiling over medium heat.. then simmer for 20 minutes,covered.
- brown chicken pieces in a little oil in a soup kettle..when browned add the Northers beans and the water. Add remaining ingredients and stir to blend.
- Now add enouth water to make about 12 cups of soup in the pot(including the ingredients already in the kettle). Stir and cook over medium/low heat ..if soup needs thickening sprinkle some instant potato flakes over top and stir until you get your desired thickness.
- This is just an idea soup..You use your left overs and pantry add ins for your Round Up Soup.. enjoy a clean refrigerator..he he
