    creamed corn
  • 2 can(s)
    low fat evaportated milk
  • 1 medium
    red or green bell pepper
  • 1 medium
  • 3 Tbsp
    extra virgin olive oil
  • ·
    course black pepper to taste
  • 1 large
    baked potato

How to Make Melba's German Corn Chowder


  1. corsley chop red or green bell pepper
    along with onion
  2. in a skillet add olive oil and bell peppers
    simmer for a few minutes do not burn add onions saute all together until onions are translucent
  3. 1 large potato cook in microwave just like a baked potato cut in half cool to handle peel cut into small cubes don't over cook
  4. In a dutch oven mix all ingredients cream corn,evporated milk, bell pepper,onion and
    potato let simmer for 2 hours
