Ingredients

  • 1 can creamed corn
  • 2 cans low fat evaportated milk
  • 1 medium red or green bell pepper
  • 1 medium onion
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • - course black pepper to taste
  • 1 large baked potato

How To Make melba's german corn chowder

  • Step 1
    corsley chop red or green bell pepper along with onion
  • Step 2
    in a skillet add olive oil and bell peppers simmer for a few minutes do not burn add onions saute all together until onions are translucent
  • Step 3
    1 large potato cook in microwave just like a baked potato cut in half cool to handle peel cut into small cubes don't over cook
  • Step 4
    In a dutch oven mix all ingredients cream corn,evporated milk, bell pepper,onion and potato let simmer for 2 hours
