- 2 tablespoons real bacon bits
- 1/2 cup frozen diced onions
- 1 can (15 oz) diced carrots, drained
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 bottle (8 oz) clam juice
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato puree
- 1 cup water
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can (15 oz) sliced white potatoes
- 1 can (10 oz) baby clams, with juice
- pinch red pepper flakes, optional

Step 1Add first 7 ingredients to soup pot. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cover; simmer 10 minutes.
