Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons real bacon bits
  • 1/2 cup frozen diced onions
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced carrots, drained
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 bottle (8 oz) clam juice
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato puree
  • 1 cup water
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can (15 oz) sliced white potatoes
  • 1 can (10 oz) baby clams, with juice
  • pinch red pepper flakes, optional

How To Make easy manhattan clam chowder

  • Step 1
    Add first 7 ingredients to soup pot. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cover; simmer 10 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Add remaining ingredients and simmer another 10 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Serve.
