Ingredients
- 2 cups diced potatoes
- 1/2 cup sliced carrots
- 1/2 cup sliced celery
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 - 10 oz. stick cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 can (15 oz.) cream style corn
How To Make cheese corn chowder

Step 1In soup kettle, combine potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, salt and pepper; add boiling water. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. DO NOT DRAIN. In separate pan, make a cream sauce with butter, flour, and milk. Add cheese, stir until melted. Add to corn and undrained vegetables in soup kettle. HEAT--DO NOT BOIL!
