    medium onion, yellow or white - chopped
  • 12 oz. pkg
    fresh broccoli - chopped
  • 3/4 stick
  • 4 c
  • 2 Tbsp
    chicken bouillon granules
  • 1 lb
    cheese loaf, (velveeta) cubed
  • 1 c

How to Make Broccoli and Cheese Soup


  1. Sauté broccoli and onions until onions become clear.
  2. Add water and bullion. Boil on high for 10 minutes.
  3. Add cheese. Stir often until cheese is completely melted.
  4. Add buttermilk and heat until warm.
  5. Serve with French bread.
