  • 2/3 cup ketchup
  • 6 ounces tomato paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili pepper
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (15 oz) drained pinto beans
  • 1 quart water
  • 4 ounces dry spaghetti, broken into thirds
