I have made this for years we love chili.My family loves this recipe.Sometimes i cook this in my slow cooker it even makes it better.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 large vidalia onion chopped
  • 2 cans mild chili beans
  • 1 - box of carroll shelby chili seasoning 1/2 of all the packets
  • 1 large can of chopped tomatoes
  • 6 cups tomatoe juice
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 package cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni, cooked,sometimes i put macaroni in it .

How To Make shirley's chili

  • Step 1
    FRY YOUR GROUND BEEF WITH YOUR CHOPPED ONION'S WHEN DONE DRAIN OFF FAT.THEN ADD THE CHILI SEASONING 1/2 OF ALL THE PACKETS,TOMATOES,CHILI BEAN'S,TOMATOE JUICE ,You can add more chile sersoning if you like it hoter.

    COOK ON LOW FOR ABOUT 2 HOUR'S YOU COULD PUT THIS IN YOUR SLOW COOKER ON LOW FOR 4 HOUR'S.SERVE WITH SHREDDED CHEESE ON TOP.
