I kept the ingredients to a minimum to make it easier and quicker to make. But feel free to add extra chiles and spices.

I also use ground turkey for a healthier soup, but you CAN use ground beef if you like. Just know it changes the calorie and fat content.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb
    ground turkey breast
  • 1
    onion, chopped.
  • 1
    14-1/2 oz can diced tomatoes w/ chiles, undrained.
  • 1-1/2 dash(es)
    water
  • 1
    16 oz can kidney beans, undrained
  • 1
    8 oz can whole kernel corn, drained.
  • 1
    8 oz can tomato sauce.
  • 1-1/2 tsp
    chili powder

How to Make Quick & healthy chili soup

Step-by-Step

  1. In lg soup pot, lightly sprayed w/ cooking spray, brown ground turkey and onion over medium heat. Add remaining ingredients, mix well. Bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and simmer 30 min, until hot and heated through fully. Great w/ homemade corn bread!
