Lynda's Pepper Chili

My grandson was here over the weekend and I made this recipe. He ate 6 bowls of my Chili! I think that says it all, don't you?

Ingredients
-
1large green bell pepper, chopped
-
1large sweet red bell pepper,chopped
-
1/2large jalapeno pepper, chopped (seeded if preferred)
-
1.5-2 lb80/20 ground beef
-
1 Tbspred pepper flakes
-
2-3large garlic cloves, smashed and chopped
-
1large sweet onion, chopped
-
2 can(s)red kidney beans, drained, 16 oz.

2 can(s)petite diced tomatoes, with juice, 14.5 oz cans
-
1 can(s)tomato paste, 6 oz. can
-
3+ Tbspchili powder
-
2+ Tbspgarlic powder
-
2+ Tbsponion powder
-
1-2 tspcrystal hot sauce
-
1-2 can(s)water
-
·sea salt & pepper to taste

3 Tbspoil, for the pan
How to Make Lynda's Pepper Chili
- In a very large pot, add oil, garlic, red pepper flakes, chili powder and meld for 1 Min to flavor the oil. Cook ground beef
in the flavored oil, and break up into small pieces until all browned, salt and pepper meat. - Add in all Peppers, Onions and cook for 3-5 min. Then add in Tomatoes, Tomato paste, Water(enough to cover mixture) and
Kidney Beans.
Add rest of spices,hot sauce, salt and pepper to taste. Mix together well. Cook on medium high heat to let all the flavors merry. - Cook 45 minutes to 1 hour minimum, 2 hours is best. Taste periodically, season more according to your taste. (Mild vs. Hot)
- Variation of Garnishes to Choose From:
Shredded Cheeses, Sour Cream, Diced Red Onion, Chopped Cilantro, Guacomole, Crackers, more Hot Sauce if you desire.
We've tried them all and it's fantastic!
