This is a thick chili with a lot of beans. You can put less beans in and it comes out fine.

Ingredients

lean ground beef
1/2 c
chopped onion
2 clove
garlic..minced
2 can(s)
(16oz ea) dark red kidney beans..rinse &drain
2 can(s)
(16oz ea)light red kidney beans.rinse & drain
2 can(s)
(14.5oz)chili ready tomatoes
1 can(s)
(15oz)pizza sauce
1 can(s)
(4oz)chopped green chilies
4 tsp
chili powder
1 tsp
dried basil
1/2 tsp
salt (i omit)
1/8 tsp
pepper

How to Make Lynda's Favorite Slow Cooked Chili

Step-by-Step

  • 1Cook first 3 ingredients until the meat is no longer pink.(Drain)
  • 2Put in a 5 quart slow cooker,stir in remaining ingredients.
  • 3cover and cook on low 6 hours.
