This is a super easy recipe. I make this when I'm trying to make something really cheap and healthy at the same time. It's really good!

Ingredients

  • 1 - bag of brown lentils
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 - sweet onion
  • 5 cloves minced garlic
  • 5 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 - tsp chili powder
  • 2 - beef bouillon cubes (optional)
  • - salt and pepper to taste. i would wait and try it because i usually don't need to add any.
  • 1 can veggie broth (optional) i only add this if i have it on hand. doesn't make much of a difference.
  • 3 cups water or more as needed

How To Make easy, satisfying lentil chili

  • Step 1
    Dice onion and then add rest of ingredients together.
  • Step 2
    Bring to a boil and then lower heat and simmer until lentils are tender, stirring every so often. Add water if needed.
