  • 4 c
    dried pinto beans
  • 1 large
  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 3/4 c
    tomato sauce
  • 2 can(s)
  • 2 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp

How to Make Chili Con Carne


  1. Crumble ground beef and brown, add in chopped onion.
    Cook till tender.
    When the onion is clear is when it is tender.
  2. Drain off all fat. Stir in rest of ingredients
  3. Boil gently about 45 minutes until thickend. looks like super thick chili when ready.
