Ingredients
- 1/2 cup long grain white rice, uncooked
- 1/2 cup wild rice, uncooked
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 medium onion , chopped
- 2 - celery stalks , coarsely chopped
- 1 pound chicken breasts, boneless and skinless cut up
- 2 teaspoons crushed dried thyme leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 3 cans ( 14 oz each)chicken broth
How To Make slow simmered chicken rice soup

Step 1Mix wild , white rice and oil in crock pot slow cooker Cover and cook on high for 15 min

Step 2Stir in onion,celery,chicken,thyme,pepper and Broth. Cover and cook on low 7 to 8 hour or one high for 4 to 5 hours or until done.
