My husband loves this. Good when it's Cold out or your not feeling so good.

Ingredients

  • 1 package chicken thighs, skinless and boneless
  • 3 stalks celery
  • 6 stalks green onion
  • small bag baby carrots
  • 1 cup rice, instant and uncooked
  • 2 boxes chicken broth
  • - salt and pepper to taste

How To Make homemade chicken soup

  • Step 1
    I boil my chicken thighs first. I like thighs they give the soup more flavor.
  • Step 2
    Drain & cool chicken so you can slice it in small pieces.
  • Step 3
    Return chopped chicken to the pot. Add chopped celery, chopped green onions,baby carrots chicken broth, salt & pepper.
  • Step 4
    Bring to a boil. Turn stove to Med. Low to Low for a couple hours. Last five minutes or so Add rice. And Enjoy.
