Ingredients

  • 1 large boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1 package lipton onion soup mix
  • 2 boxes low sodium chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme, dried
  • 2 teaspoons chicken base
  • 1 can sliced carrots
  • 2 cups egg noodles, uncooked

How To Make easy crockpot chicken noodle soup

  • Step 1
    Place chicken in crock pot and sprinkle onion soup mix over top.
  • Step 2
    Pour two boxes of broth into crock, covering chicken.
  • Step 3
    Cook on high for 4 hours (if chicken was thawed when you put it in); 6 hours ( if chicken was frozen when you put it in).
  • Step 4
    Remove chicken from crock and shred with two forks. Put chicken back in to broth.
  • Step 5
    Add remaining ingredients, stirring well.
  • Step 6
    Cook on high for another 30 - 40 minutes until noodles are cooked through.
  • Step 7
    Serve with crackers or bread.
