now that winter is approaching i like to be able to make soups and stews this particuliar one was posted to a ww site it said 4 points per cup

  • 4 c
    chicken broth
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    chicken base
  • 1 c
    carrots thinly sliced into coins
  • 1 c
    celery sliced
  • 10 oz
    chicken breast cut into small chunks
  • 1 1/2 c
    cooked white rice
  • 3 Tbsp
    corn starch mixed with 3 tbsp of cold water
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste

How to Make chicken with rice soup


  1. In a medium pot, add the chicken broth, chicken base, carrots, celery and chicken. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer until veggies are fork tender. Add the rice, parsley, salt and pepper.
  2. Stir the corn starch and water mixture. Return to a boil , stirring constantly for minute.
