  • 2 medium
    chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 4 c
    roasted chicken base
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    fresh garlic (diced small)
  • 1 tsp
    fresh sage (diced small)
  • 2 medium
    carrots, chopped small
  • 1 stalk(s)
    celery, chopped small
  • 1 c
    spinach, fresh chopped
  • GRANDMAS KNUFLIES

  • 2 large
    eggs
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • THESE MESUREMENTS ARE APPROXIMATE, YOU WANT YOUR DOUGH STICKY

How to Make Chicken And Knuflie Soup

Step-by-Step

  1. Bake chicken breasts till done. Cut in cubes.
  2. In slow cooker or crock pot add chicken broth, garlic, sage, carrot, and celery. start on high. When chicken is done add to the broth.Cook for about 2 hours or till carrots are tender.
  3. In large pan boil 6 cups water, whisk eggs, add water, and flour mix till sticky. Taking a butter knife, take a little dough at a time and slide off into boiling water.
  4. When all the dumplings have risen to the top they are done drain and add to chicken and broth. About 5 minutes before serving add the chopped spinach. Enjoy!
