celery stalks, diced

butter
1/4 c
all purpose flour
1/4 c
buffalo wing sauce
3/4 c
half and half
1 1/2 c
shredded cheese
2 c
cooked chicken, cubed
3 c
water
1 small
onion, diced
pinch
blue cheese
pinch
parsley flakes

How to Make Buffalo Chicken Soup

Step-by-Step

  • 1Melt butter in large pot on medium-high.
  • 2Cook celery and onion in melted butter until tender (5 minutes)
  • 3Add flour and cook till absorbed (2 minutes)
  • 4Stir in half & half and water, dissolve bouillon cube.
  • 5Stir in chicken, buffalo wing sauce and cheese, mix well.
  • 6Season with pepper and salt (to taste). Reduce heat to medium-low. Stir occasionally.
  • 7Allow soup to simmer until cheese has melted (10 minutes) Garnish with parsley and blue cheese.
