No. This is not a trademark soup. It is homemade goodness from the lovely lady, Bev, who I stayed with while student teaching. I love this simple, tasty, and comfort soup. I use turkey but this works equally well with beef.

1 1/2 lb
ground beef or ground turkey
1 c
diced celery
2 can(s)
sliced carrots, drained
2 can(s)
sliced potatoes, drained
3 can(s)
diced tomatoes (plain)
1 1/2 c
cooked rice
salt, to taste
pepper, to tase
cabbage, shredded (opt.)

How to Make Veggie Soup for Weight Watchers


  • 1Brown meat with onion.
  • 2Add celery, carrots, potatoes and at LEAST 2 cans tomatoes. (The third can is optional).
  • 3Add one can of water for each can of tomatoes.
  • 4Let simmer low for 20 minutes.
  • 5Add Rice and cabbage (opt.) and season with Salt and Pepper.
  • 6Simmer until rice is heated through (10-15) minutes.
