mulligan stew
This is my grandmothers reciepe that has been enhanced. My mother and worked to improve. Kinda hard to improve on grandmas, but we played. Hope you enjoy.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground round
- 3 quarts water, beef broth or mixture
- 4 slices celery stalks sliced
- 5 slices carrots, chopped
- 1 bunch leek, sliced, and cleaned
- 3 large turnips
- 5 - turnips, cleaned and sliced
- 1/2 to 1 - head of cabbage
- 1 can stewed tomatoes, any style
- 2 cups ketsup, or to flavor
- 1 jar small jar v-8 juice
How To Make mulligan stew

Step 1In large soup pot brown beef in skillet with onions and garlic (optional) until no longer pink. Add all veggies, tomatoes, juice, and ketsup except cabbage. Simmer until veggies are tender, about 30 min. Add cabbage for 10 min.

Step 2Serve with Dark Rye bread and butter. Enjoy!!!
