A friend gave this recipe to me which had little smokies PLUS the hamburger meat. It was too much. Here is my "tweaked" recipe. I also hit a homerun with the meat mixture!

Ingredients
- 1 pound hamburger meat
- 1 pound italian sausage, no casings
- 1 pound italian sausage, hot, no casings
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 1 cup celery
- 1 cup red bell pepper
- 3 cloves mashed garlic
- 1 teaspoon salt and pepper
- 3 - cans of campbells soup- minestrone soup
- 1 - can of rotel
- 1 box chicken stock
- - parsley
- - basil
How To Make minestrone soup plus

Step 1Brown meats along with onions, garlic, celery, bell pepper and garlic. Drain well. IMPORTANT: Save half for later recipes! Makes a great meat blend for spaghetti sauce.

Step 2In large soup pot, add meat, 3 cans soup, Rotel, 1 carton chicken broth, parsley and basil (dried).

Step 3Bring to a boil then lower heat to simmmer. Good with cornbread. Tastes like you have been cooking all afternoon!
