  • 1 large
    package of mix vegetables
  • 1 pkg
    lipton onion soup mix with mushrooms
  • 1 box
    low-sodium beef broth
  • 2 Tbsp
    tomato paste
  • 1 bottle
    dark lager beer
  • 5 small
    potatoes diced in small cubes
  • 2 Tbsp
    barbecue sauce
  • 1 pkg
    beef stew meat
  • 2
    beef bouillon cubes

How to Make Homemade Beef Stew


  1. Brine beef stew meat overnight or at least 4 hours.
    drain any liquid off meat and pat meat dry, then brown meat until done.
  2. Add all remaining ingredients except potatoes. simmer about 45 minutes, then add potatoes and cook until potatoes or tender on low heat.
