I make this all the time.It is my own recipe.We love it.As everyone knows with stew...eat it with saltine crackers,or cornbread,or rolls.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 2 pounds bag of frozen veggies,corn,carrots,green beans,peas
- 5 cloves garlic,chopped or sliced
- 1/2 bottle tomato juice
- 3 tablespoons better than bouilion beef base
- 1 large onion
- - water
- 1 or 2 cans stewed tomatoes
- 5 cups potatoes,cut
- 3 - bay leaves(scoop out when stew is ready to eat)
How To Make hamburger stew

Step 1Brown Ground Beef and season with Lowry's season salt.Drain grease.Add meat back to skillet.Add 5 chopped garlic cloves and 1 chopped onion.Cook medium heat for a few minutes.Add mixture to large soup pot.Now add 1/2 large bottle of tomato juice...approx:32 ounces.Add 1 cup water,and 3 Tablespoons of "Better Than Bouilion Beef Base".Add 3 bay leaves.Add 2 cans cut-up Stewed Tomatoes.Add 2 pound bag of frozen veggies and 5 cups cut-up potatoes.Leave skins on potatoes if you like it that way.Cook med-high heat until potatoes are soft enough to eat.Make sure to stir every few minutes while cooking,until you think it's done.That's it.Enjoy!(can simmer as long as you want)
