Easy Taco Soup

So easy and a meal in a pot.Healthy and delish too!

1 lb
90 % lean ground beef
1 c
chopped onions
1 pkg
{1.25}oz. taco seasoning mix
3 c
water, hot
1 can(s)
14.5 ounce size diced tomatoes with green chilis
1 can(s)
15 ounce size,drained and rinsed black beans
1 can(s)
15 ouncesize of whole kernal corn
1 can(s)
4 ounce size,diced green chiles{i use mild}
1 c
small pasta shells


1In a large dutch oven cook and crumble beef and the onions,until no longer pink,DRAIN.
2Add remaining ingrediants to pan;bring to a boil;reduce heat and then simmer until the pasta is cooked,about 10 minutes.Simmer a few more minutes for best flavor.
3Remove from heat.
Ladle soup into serving bowls.
Top with shredded chedder or monteray Jack cheese,crushed tortilla chips,sliced green onions and sour cream,if desired.VERY GOOD.
