  • 1 lb
    90 % lean ground beef
  • 1 c
    chopped onions
  • 1 pkg
    {1.25}oz. taco seasoning mix
  • 3 c
    water, hot
  • 1 can(s)
    14.5 ounce size diced tomatoes with green chilis
  • 1 can(s)
    15 ounce size,drained and rinsed black beans
  • 1 can(s)
    15 ouncesize of whole kernal corn
  • 1 can(s)
    4 ounce size,diced green chiles{i use mild}
  • 1 c
    small pasta shells

How to Make Easy Taco Soup


  1. In a large dutch oven cook and crumble beef and the onions,until no longer pink,DRAIN.
  2. Add remaining ingrediants to pan;bring to a boil;reduce heat and then simmer until the pasta is cooked,about 10 minutes.Simmer a few more minutes for best flavor.
  3. Remove from heat.
    Ladle soup into serving bowls.
    Top with shredded chedder or monteray Jack cheese,crushed tortilla chips,sliced green onions and sour cream,if desired.VERY GOOD.
