Ingredients
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/4 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- dash of salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 - egg white, beaten
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon oil
How To Make cornmeal dumplings

Step 1Make dumplings by mixing together flour, cornmeal, baking powder, salt, and pepper. Combine egg white, milk and oil. Add to flour mixture. Stir with fork until just combined.

Step 2When whatever soup you have made is about 1/2 hr. from being done, put heat on high (in slow cooker) Drop dumpling mixture by rounded teaspoonfuls to make 8 mounds atop the soup.

Step 3Cover. Cook for 30 minutes (do not lift lid)
