comforting homemade vegetable beef soup
My husband,children,grandchildren,and friends love when I make my homemade soup.I get asked alot from them to make it.It is a real tummy warming comforting dish.I love to make it especially on a cold winters day.All you need is a hot bowl of my soup and a cold glass of milk.Oh yeah you can add a few crackers to if you desire.

At least 10 people @ 1 cup servings possibly more,but noone can eat just one cup.
Ingredients
- large 2 cans tomato soup
- small 1 can of tomato sauce
- large 1 can of diced tomatoes
- ounce 1-16oz.pkg.of frozen mixed veggies
- box 1/2 sm.box of elbow macaroni(cooked and drained)
- pound 2 lbs.lean ground chuck(cooked and drained)
- tablespoon 1/2 of sea salt
- tablespoon 1 of black pepper
- tablespoon 1 of italian seasoning
- cup add water to the thickness of broth you want
How To Make comforting homemade vegetable beef soup

Step 1In a 6 qt. crockpot add everything except the macaroni and ground chuck.

Step 2Cook on the high setting of your crockpot for 3 hrs.

Step 3At the last 45 min.to half hour of cooking add the cooked and drained macaroni and ground chuck.At this point you can turn your crockpot to the low setting and finish cooking.

Step 4Tip for working people: you can put this on low before you leave and when you get home add the macaroni and ground chuck and cook another half hour.

Step 5I hope you enjoy this soup. It is really good with some homemade cornbread and a tall glass of milk. I have also submitted my recipe for the cornbread.
