perfect split pea soup using instant pot
Updated on Dec 11, 2016
Every year when the weather turned cold - my mom - bless her heart - would make pea soup. We always knew that was the beginning of winter ( In New Orleans you always couldn't tell just by the temperature). This year, we got an Instant Pot because we wanted a slow cooker and I got one that really didn't work - Second time using it and I did the pea soup. It really came out better than my mom's - all I can say is try it - really tasty and warms you up on those cold nights
