Ingredients
- 1 package pork neck bones
- 1 pound dried beans ( i use 15 bean mix)
- 8 quarts water
- 1 tablespoon thyme
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon sage
- 1 bunch greens (kale, swiss chard or what ever you have)
- 3 - celery stalks plus center leaf sections
- 2 - leeks
- 2 - carrots
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3 - vegetable bouillon cubes
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can diced tomatoes
How To Make neck bone bean soup-kl

Step 1Presoak beans according to which method you prefer on the package.

Step 2Drain and rinse beans.

Step 3Slice greens, celery, carrots and leeks. Chop the garlic.

Step 4Place beans back into the pot with all remaining ingredients.

Step 5Cook covered on medium heat until beans are soft, stirring occasionaly. 2 to 3 hour depending on beans used.
