My mother would make this quite often when I was growing up. I'm not always big on Lima beans, but I did like this soup. :)

Ingredients
- 1 package large size lima beans, dried
- 2 cups pork, cut up (or more if you like)
- 2 - potatoes, diced
- 1 can white shoepeg corn, undrained
- 2 - carrots, grated fine
- - ketchup, 2 or 3 good squirts
- - water, enough to cover
- - salt & pepper, to taste
- - pork gravy, if available (but not necessary)
How To Make mom-mom's lima bean soup

Step 1Soak Lima beans overnight in a pot of water. Drain.

Step 2Combine all ingredients, including beans, in large pot with the water, enough to cover ingredients.

Step 3Cook at a slow boil until potatoes are tender.
