- 1 pound lentils, dry
- 1 - bay leaf
- 1 small onion
- 2 large carrots
- 1 tablespoon thyme, sprigs
- 1 stick celery stalk
- 1 cup texas rice
- 3 cloves garlic chopped
- - salt and pepper
- 8 cups water
How To Make lentils with tex-mati brown rice

Step 1Boil one pound of washed organic lentils in about 8 cups of water in large pot. Now put in some other ingredients as a bay leaf, one chopped onion, two sliced carrots, organic Tex-mati brown rice, two chopped stalks celery and three cloves of garlic (chopped). Now cover the mixture partially and reduce the heat to simmer. Stir occasionally. Remove bay leaf and thyme springs. Season with salt and pepper.
