1 pkg
dry lentils
1 can(s)
1-2 can(s)
tomato sauce
2 pkg
frozen chopped broccoli (square boxes in freezer section)
1 large
onion diced
5 large
garlic cloves diced
1 pkg
sweet italian sausage (cooked and sliced into bite size slices)

How to Make Lentil soup


  • 1Rince and place lentils in water to soak over night.

    Boil lentils for 15 minutes. Drain and rinse.
  • 2Boil 3/4 of a gallon of water in a large stew pot. Add all ingredients and cook until Lentils are done.

    season with salt and pepper to taste.

    NOTE I use less water as I like mine thicker.
