1 pkgdry lentils
1-2 can(s)tomato sauce
2 pkgfrozen chopped broccoli (square boxes in freezer section)
1 largeonion diced
5 largegarlic cloves diced
1 pkgsweet italian sausage (cooked and sliced into bite size slices)
How to Make Lentil soup
- Rince and place lentils in water to soak over night.
Boil lentils for 15 minutes. Drain and rinse.
- Boil 3/4 of a gallon of water in a large stew pot. Add all ingredients and cook until Lentils are done.
season with salt and pepper to taste.
NOTE I use less water as I like mine thicker.
