Ingredients
- 1 package lentils, dry (16 oz)
- 8 cups water
- 1 - tomato
- 1/4 - onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 3 - carrots
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 tablespoons cilantro, fresh
- 1 pinch pepper
How To Make lentil soup

Step 1Wash the vegetables and chop them in small pieces. Heat a medium pot with some cooking spray, place the onion and garlic first, cook for 2-3 minutes, add carrots and tomato, cook for 3 more minutes

Step 2Preheat the water in a tea kettle and transfer the vegetables, water and add lentils to a slow cooker.

Step 3Set the slow cooker on high, add salt pepper and cilantro, Cook for 4 hours or until the lentils are tender but not mushy. Enjoy!
