Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can 15 oz. black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup tomatoes with juice
- 1 cup frozen corn, thawed
- 1 tablespoon tomatoe paste
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 - green pepper, diced
How To Make hearty black bean and corn chili

Step 1In skillet heat oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic; cook 2 minutes.

Step 2Stir in beans,tomatoes with juice, corn, tomato paste, chili powder, cumin and sugar.

Step 3Cover and reduce heat to low; simmer until thickened, 15-20 minutes. Add pepper; cook 5 minutes.
