Fast & Easy Hearty Black Bean Soup

This is a really tasty and quick soup to make - a good choice for after a long day at the office. I used mild salsa but it still packed quite a nice punch.

1 Tbspchili powder

1(16 oz) can(s)chicken broth

·shredded sharp cheddar cheese

·low-fat sour cream

·minced green onions

·chopped cilantro
How to Make Fast & Easy Hearty Black Bean Soup
- Place beans and liquid in a medium saucepan.
- Partially mash beans with a potato masher.
- Place over high heat;stir in salsa, chili powder and broth.
- Bring to boil.
- Ladle soup into bowls.
- Top with cheese, sour cream, onions and cilantro to taste.
- Serve with tortilla chips and margaritas.
