How to Make Chana Dahl Soup - diabetic
- Heat all ingredients to boiling in a 4 quart dutch oven, stirring occasionally, reduce heat. Cover and simmer 1 hour to 1 ½ hours.
Remove ham, let cool enough to handle cut into pieces & return to soup. Heat again to boiling. Simmer 30 minutes or until soup is desired consistency.
- Optional Seasonings:
Garlic pepper, lemon pepper, cayenne pepper, chili’s, minced garlic or 1 packet of Goya Ham seasoning. (has a pig on the box)
