Ingredients

  • 1 can black beans, drained
  • 1/2 can water, use bean can to measure
  • 1/2 cup salsa, mild, medium, or hot your choice (plus a bit for garnish)
  • 1/2 cup fat free half and half (plus a bit for garnish)

How To Make black bean soup, low fat and tasty

  • Step 1
    Puree beans, water, and salsa in food processor or blender until smooth. Heat mixture over medium heat. Remove from heat and add cream, stir well. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator. Garnish with a a spoon of sour cream and/or a bit of salsa.
