Ingredients

  • 1 can canollini beans, drained
  • 1 can black beans, drained
  • 1 can red kidney beans, drained
  • - 1 large white onion, diced
  • - 2 stalks celery, diced
  • - 2 large tomatoes, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, diced
  • 2 cups (475 ml) vegetable or chicken stock, more if desired
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) fresh flat leaf parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • - ground turkey or beef

How To Make 3 bean soup

  • Step 1
    Sweat onions and celery until translucent.
  • Step 2
    Add garlic and tomatoes; cook for 10 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Add drained beans and stock, cook for 10 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Add fresh herbs.
  • Step 5
    Note: Substitute your favorite beans and fresh herbs
  • Step 6
    Add more liquid if ground turkey or beef is desire.
  • Step 7
    This recipe has been in my family for 3 generations and is still a hit.
