1/2 c
butter
1/3 c
honey
1/4 c
packed brown sugar
1 tsp
ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp
salt
3 c
square oat cereal (quaker brown sugar)
1 1/2 c
old fashioned oats
1 c
chopped walnuts
1/2 c
dried cranberries (craisins)
1/2 c
chocolate covered raisins

How to Make Cranberry Oat Snack Mix

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a saucepan, combine the first five ingredients; heat until the butter is melted. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  • 2In a large bowl, combine cereal, oats and nuts. Drizzle with the butter mixture and mix well.
  • 3Place in a greased 10 x15 baking pan. (I use parchment paper instead of greasing the pan) Bake, uncovered, at 275 degrees for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
  • 4Cool completely, stirring occasionally. Stir in cranberries and chocolate covered raisins.
  • 5Store in an airtight container.
  • 6ENJOY!
