jemilah's roasted turkey grilled cheese
My son Jemilah and I prepared this together, well he prepared it and I provided the adult supervision. He is 14 and autistic, but capable of doing simple tasks like this, and the look of accomplishment on his face was pricless. Very simple, just 3 ingredients and if the broiler is too much for your little chefs, after toasting the bread, the microwave will work just fine.

Ingredients
- 2 slices whole grain wheat toast
- 4 slices turkey breast, oven roasted
- 2 slices amish cheddar
How To Make jemilah's roasted turkey grilled cheese

Step 1To start let's wash our hands, then place the bread in the toaster.

Step 2Crank oven up to broil.In a pan place the toast with 2 slices of turkey on each piece of bread. Then top with the cheese.

Step 3Put on oven mitts and place under broiler for 6-7 minutes or the cheese is bubbly.

Step 4Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving. Jemilah ate his with potato salad, and sweet gherkins. (He loves both).
