  soften butter at room temp. then add sugar, & vanilla and fork press until crumbly. add flour & choc chips stirring. Add egg then stir to mix well.

  Place sm. equal teaspoonfuls 2" apart in baking sheet into hot oven. Bake 10 min. 350-375 F. Refrigerate remaining dough so mama won't eat them all. ;-)
