Another old recipe book uncovered at an auction. This one dates back to 1957 it's an old Presbyterian Church cookbook. You can never beat the ladies cooking at a church potluck.

Ingredients
- 4 cups cranberries (1quart)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup water
How To Make candied cranberries

Step 1Wash berries and drain on a towel so all water is removed.

Step 2Boil sugar and water 3 minutes, then drop in berries, soda and salt. From the time berries begin boiling, boil 15 minutes.

Step 3Shake kettle occasionally. DO NOT REMOVE COVER UNTIL BERRIES ARE COLD!!!!!! NOTE: The secret of this recipe is not to remove cover until the berries are cold.
