  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup grated orange peel
  • 1/4 cup grated lemon peel
  • 2 1/2 cups walnut halves

How To Make orange-lemon walnuts

  • Step 1
    Combine sugar, water, and orange juice in small saucepan. Cook to hard ball stage 244 degrees, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add orange and lemon peel and walnuts; stir until creamy. Spread on buttered baking sheets. Separating nuts. Cool. Break into pieces. Makes 3/4 pound.
