- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup grated orange peel
- 1/4 cup grated lemon peel
- 2 1/2 cups walnut halves

Step 1Combine sugar, water, and orange juice in small saucepan. Cook to hard ball stage 244 degrees, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add orange and lemon peel and walnuts; stir until creamy. Spread on buttered baking sheets. Separating nuts. Cool. Break into pieces. Makes 3/4 pound.
