I haven't tried this candy recipe, but sounds so good. Pretty easy and want to share.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups honey
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup orange juice, fresh
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice, ground
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 5 ounces matzo, finely crumbled
  • 1 cup hazelnuts

How To Make ingberlach-jewish candy

  • Step 1
    Lightly oil a rimmed baking sheet
  • Step 2
    In a large saucepan, over medium heat
  • Step 3
    combine honey, sugar, orange juice, cinnamon, cloves, giger & salt, bring to a simmer and cook 10 minutes
  • Step 4
    Stir in Matzo & hazelnuts, cook until golden brown and thick. About another 10 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Using a silicone spatula, spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Step 6
    Allow to cool, until easily handled and using lightly oiled hands, scoop up and rool into 1/2-inch ball. Store in an airtight container with waxed paper between the layers.
