I haven't tried this candy recipe, but sounds so good. Pretty easy and want to share.

Ingredients

honey
1/2 c
sugar
1/2 c
orange juice, fresh
1 tsp
cinnamon
1/4 tsp
ground cloves
1/4 tsp
allspice, ground
2 tsp
ground ginger
1/4 tsp
kosher salt
5 oz
matzo, finely crumbled
1 c
hazelnuts

How to Make INGBERLACH-Jewish Candy

Step-by-Step

  • 1Lightly oil a rimmed baking sheet
  • 2In a large saucepan, over medium heat
  • 3combine honey, sugar, orange juice, cinnamon, cloves, giger & salt, bring to a simmer and cook 10 minutes
  • 4Stir in Matzo & hazelnuts, cook until golden brown and thick. About another 10 minutes.
  • 5Using a silicone spatula, spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • 6Allow to cool, until easily handled and using lightly oiled hands, scoop up and rool into 1/2-inch ball. Store in an airtight container with waxed paper between the layers.
