This is a product recipe from Old Dutch Puffcorn. It is delicious. So simple and so good. And no kernels.

brown sugar
2/3 c
light corn syrup
1 tsp
baking soda

How to Make Caramel Corn


  • 1preheat oven to 250

    combine butter (use only butter, not margarine), brown sugar, and corn syrup in 2 qt saucepan

    cook on medium until mixture has melted
  • 2Once mixture has melted add the baking soda (the mixture will foam)

    Put the puffcorn in large roaster pan and pour caramel mixture over it. Stir until mixed
  • 3put in 250 oven for 45 minutes stirring every 10-15 minutes

    remove from oven, pour on wax paper

    when cool break apart

    store in airtight container
