Ingredients

  • 8 slice
    sourdough bread
  • 1 Tbsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/3 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 stick
    butter
  • 1/2 c
    raisins

How To Make

    In a mixing bowl add the sugar and powdered cinnamon, then mix thoroughly. Should be a dark tan when finished.

    Take butter in plastic cup and melt in microwave. Lay bread on cookie sheet and with brush apply butter to cover each slice.

    Now with a spoon, sprinkle the sugar and cinnamon mixture in each piece of bread. Don't worry about being even but cover each piece well.

    Bring oven to broil and on the middle rack, put the cookie sheet. Cook until tops of toast start to bubble with the butter and mixture. You have to watch. Don't burn. Once all looks done...remove from oven and let cool for a minute. You can sprinkle with raisins if you desire.
