How to Make Thanksgiving Cookies/Dog cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine in a large bowl: White flour-Wheat flour- wheat germ, powdered milk- salt.
  2. Cut in Margarine or shorting until mixture resemble corn meal. You may have to add a little more flour.
  3. Beat brown sugar with egg. Add all vegetables to this mixture and mix well then add to flour mixture.
  4. Mixture all ingredients well if it is to sticky just add more flour which sometimes I have had to do. I think depending on the vegs you use may have something to do with having to add more flour.
  5. Knead and roll out to about 1/4 inch thick and cut with any cookie cutter you like Bake 350 degrees for about 30 minutes or until golden lightly brown. Let cool till harden.
  6. I will add picture's later today, as I'm making these to take to our Adoption day tomorrow for our basset rescue in Dwight,Ill.
