Ingredients
- 1 - peck of sweet apples
- 1/2 gallon sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon cloves
- 1 pint cider vinegar
- - cinnamon sticks, if you wish
How To Make sweet apple pickles

Step 1Pare, core, and halve the apples.

Step 2Cover the apples overnight with the sugar.

Step 3Next morning, set them on the fire, and add the cinnamon and the cloves.

Step 4Cook the apples until they are easily stuck with a fork.

Step 5Add the vinegar, and boil another five minutes.

Step 6Seal in jars while the apples are still very hot.

Step 7A cinnamon stick can be added to each jar, if you wish.
