How to Make Roasted Chick Peas (Garbanzo's)
- 1Preheat oven to 425
- 2Rinse a can of chick peas and let dry on paper towels, blotting and rolling lightly on top as well
- 3Spray a cookie sheet with PAM or something similar. Transfer the chick peas to the cookie sheet and season to taste.
- 4Roast for about 20 min. Remove the sheet and shake them around. Replace in oven for another 20 min. I put it on the middle rack and watch it carefully...I've burned a few pansfull in the past!
- 5You can use this basic recipe and change up the seasonings to your own tastes. I have used a touch of Hidden Valley powdered dressing mix, taco seasoning, chili powder, teryaki, just all kinds of seasonings.
