How to Make Roasted Chick Peas (Garbanzo's)


  1. Preheat oven to 425
  2. Rinse a can of chick peas and let dry on paper towels, blotting and rolling lightly on top as well
  3. Spray a cookie sheet with PAM or something similar. Transfer the chick peas to the cookie sheet and season to taste.
  4. Roast for about 20 min. Remove the sheet and shake them around. Replace in oven for another 20 min. I put it on the middle rack and watch it carefully...I've burned a few pansfull in the past!
  5. You can use this basic recipe and change up the seasonings to your own tastes. I have used a touch of Hidden Valley powdered dressing mix, taco seasoning, chili powder, teryaki, just all kinds of seasonings.
