From a friend - we used to snack on this during the holidays while playing Scrabble together. She had 4 boys, I have 2 and they gobbled this stuff up like no tomorrow!

Ingredients For pretzel mix
- PRETZEL CEREAL NUT MIX

6 cmini pretzels

6 ccorn chex or crispix

1 croasted peanuts

1 coriginal cheerios
-
1 cflake cereal, total, corn flakes, bran flakes, fiber one flakes, etc.
- COATING
-
1 cdark brown sugar

1/2 cbutter
-
1/4 clight corn syrup

1 tsppure vanilla extract

1/2 tspbaking soda
How To Make pretzel mix

1In an extra large bowl mix together all the cereals, pretzels and peanuts.

2Combine the sugar, butter and syrup in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 3 - 3 1/2 minutes until it begins to boil. Microwave 4 minutes on 40% power. Stir in the vanilla and soda.

3Pour carefully on top of the cereal/pretzel/nut mix and stir it all up until evenly coated. Place the bowl in the microwave and microwave on high for about 4 - 4 1/2 minutes until it becomes toasted a light brown. Stir, and then spread on waxed paper to cool. When totally cool, break apart into pieces.
